Jubilee Route

Since 2008

The title recalls our distant double anniversary – the 10th bike & boat tour season and the 15th sailing season of Geotour. It takes us to the most remote civilization, the magical island of Lastovo. There and elsewhere, you’ll uncover semi-forgotten settlements and bays, primeval forests, centuries-old local traditions, and unexpected views. This sailing journey is the most nature-oriented of all our trips: no city hustle, just small, charming harbors and docking spots – sometimes exclusively for our boat.

Cycling
You will ride along natural roads and paths hidden forever from the eyes of the average tourist. The rugged and raw southern coasts of Hvar and Lastovo contrast with the lush greenery of Pelješac and the slopes of Biokovo. | 5 full cycling days + 1 rest day + optional riding after disembarkation.

The ship will cover approximately 170 nautical miles (about 315 km).

Day 1/Fri:	Departure from Prague* afternoon – Wien/Linz – Graz –
Day 2/Sat:	– Maribor – Zagreb, arrival to the port of Makarska in the morning. Boarding, meet the crew and learn boat rules. Departure for Jelsa (the island of Hvar).
Day 3/Sun:	Jelsa – Sućuraj. The boat sails around the island.  across the island of Hvar.
Day 4/Mon:	Departure for Račišć in the morning (the island of Korčula). Račišće – Brna. The boat sails around the island.  across the island of Korčula island.
Day 5/Tue:	Morning departure for Jurjeva Luka (the island of Lastovo) The boat stays in port  loop around the island.
Day 6/Wed:	Sailing to Trstenik in the morning (the Pelješac peninsula)/to Račišće (the island of Korčula)   free day with a possible short bike trip.
Day 7/Thu:	Trstenik/Orebić – Trpanj the Pelješac peninsula). The boat sails around western part of the peninsula Pelješac  across the Pelješac peninsula.
Day 8/Fri:	Morning departure to Zaostrog (mainland). Zaostrog – Makarska (mainland)  hinterland, event. along the sea.
Day 9/Sat:	Disembark after breakfast.  Free time for walking (or  ride), swimming and sightseeing. Departure in the late afternoon or early evening.
Day 10/Sun:	Return to Prague.
