Jubilee Route

Since 2008

Was introduced during two of our anniversaries – the launch of the 10th Bikeoat and Geotour’s 15th sailing season. It takes us to the island of Lastovo, the most isolated Croatian island from the mainland, which is located a third of the way between Croatia and Italy across the Adriatic Sea. During our most „natural“ route you will discover primary virgin forest, ancient customs of local islanders, tiny coves and village ports – sometimes just for our boat.

   We will pass through the secluded island, but also through a diverse area of the mainland hidden to the eyes of most coastal holiday-makers. The rugged southern coast of Hvar and Lastovo is a large contrast to the fertile, lush green valley of the underground Matica River. | 5 full biking days + 1 day rest (without biking or with a short ride) + option for biking after disembarkation.  

Day 1/Fri:	Departure from Prague* afternoon – Wien/Linz – Graz –
Day 2/Sat:	– Maribor – Zagreb, arrival to the port of Baška Voda in the morning. Boarding, meet the crew and learn boat rules. Departure for Jelsa or Vrbovska (the island of Hvar).
Day 3/Sun:	Jelsa/Vrboska – Sućuraj. The boat sails around the island.  across the island of Hvar.
Day 4/Mon:	Departure for Račišć in the morning (the island of Korčula). Korčula – Račišće – Brna. The boat sails around the island.  across the island of Korčula island.
Day 5/Tue:	Morning departure for Zaklopatice or Ubli (the island of Lastovo) The boat stays in port  loop around the island.
Day 6/Wed:	Sailing archipelago Lastovnjaci a Vrhovnjaci – Trstenik (the Pelješac peninsula)   free day with a possible short bike trip.
Day 7/Thu:	Trstenik – Trpanj. The boat sails around western part of the peninsula Pelješac  across the Pelješac peninsula.
Day 8/Fri:	Morning departure to the port of Ploče at the mouth of the Neretva. Zaostrog – Baška Voda/Makarska  hinterland, event. along the sea.
Day 9/Sat:	Disembark after breakfast.  Free time for walking (or  ride), swimming and sightseeing. Departure in the late afternoon or early evening.
Day 10/Sun:	Return to Prague.
