Kvarner route

Since 2018

Saturday’s disembarkation or embarkation in Rijeka will allow us to explore the largest Adriatic islands, Krk and Cres, as well as the adjacent coastline of the Istrian Peninsula with the Učka mountain nature park. This already diverse journey will be further enriched by an „oceanic“ voyage among the smaller islands between Northern Dalmatia and the Kvarner Gulf. We will experience the moon-like, rugged landscape and, in contrast, the original dense vegetation of ancient forests, pristine coves, and lively island harbors. Another facet of the landscape and settlements, with an Italian spirit, will complete your kaleidoscope of the entire Adriatic.

Cycling
Especially bikers will have many diverse and challenging trails to choose from, often following the tracks of the famous 4 ISLANDS MTB stage race. Those who wish can also explore and improvise more than on other „well-established and traveled“ routes. | 6 cycling days.

The ship will cover approximately 190 nautical miles (about 350 km).

Day 1/Fri:	Departure from Prague* afternoon – Wien/Linz – Graz –
Day 2/Sat:	– Maribor – Zagreb, arrival to the port in the morning. Boarding, meet the crew and learn boat rules. Departure in the afternoon.
Zadar – Rijeka
Day 3/Sun:	Morning departure for Martinšćica (Cres island). Martinšćica – Cres.  across the southern part of Cres island.
Day 4/Mon:	Cres.   across the nothern part of the island.
Day 5/Tue:	Morning departure to Rabac (Istrie peninsula).  a bike circuit around the island.
Day 6/Wed:	Sailing to Lovran. Lovran – Opatija.  along or through the Učka nature park.
Day 7/Thu:	Krk I.   on the island.
Day 8/Fri:	Krk II.   on the island.
Rijeka – Zadar
Day 3/Sun:	Island Krk.   on the island.
Day 4/Mon:	Morning sailing to Opatija (Istrie peninsula).   a bike circuit around the island.
Day 5/Tue:	Morning departure to Cres (the island of Cres)  across the northern part of the island.
Day 6/Wed:	Cres – Martinšćica.   across the southern part of the island.
Day 7/Thu:	Morning departure to Mali Lošinj (the island of Lošinj).  across the island. Afternoon departure to Ilovik/Olib.
Day 8/Fri:	Morning departure to Vir. Vir – Zadar.  along historical town of Nin to the Zadar.
Day 9/Sat:	Disembark after breakfast.  Free time for walking (or  ride), swimming and sightseeing. Departure in the late afternoon or early evening.
Day 10/Sun:	Return to Prague.

* It is possible to arrange (ahead of time) your departure from other cities (Brno and Mikulov or Jihlava and Znojmo, České Budějovice and Tábor or Písek).
